Type O Negative was an iconic American gothic metal band known for their distinctive blend of dark, brooding melodies and tongue-in-cheek humor. Formed in 1989, the band consisted of Peter Steele on vocals and bass, along with Kenny Hickey on guitar, Josh Silver on keyboards, and Johnny Kelly on drums. Type O Negative's music encompassed elements of doom metal, gothic rock, and progressive metal, creating a unique and captivating sound. With their deep, baritone vocals, heavy guitar riffs, and atmospheric keyboards, they crafted a haunting yet infectious musical style. Their albums, such as "Bloody Kisses" and "October Rust," achieved critical acclaim and a dedicated fanbase.
