Queens of the Stone Age (QOTSA) ist eine US-amerikanische Rockband, die 1996 in Palm Desert, Kalifornien, gegründet wurde. Die von Gitarrist und Sänger Josh Homme gegründete Band ist bekannt für ihren vielseitigen Stil, der Elemente aus Hard Rock, Heavy Metal und Alternative Rock vereint. QOTSA erntete viel Lob für ihren rifflastigen Sound, den innovativen Einsatz unkonventioneller Gitarrenstimmungen und Hommes unverwechselbaren, melodischen Gesang.
