Motörhead wurde 1975 von Frontmann Lemmy gegründet und gilt als eine der ersten britischen Heavy-Metal-Bands. Zu ihren bekanntesten Titeln zählen Ace of Spades und Motörhead und ihre Musik haben zahlreiche Tribute-Bands und Tribute-Alben inspiriert. Motörhead gewann 2005 einen Grammy und 2000 einen Kerrang! Silver K Award und Lemmy verstarb leider wenige Tage nach seinem 70. Geburtstag im Dezember 2015.
