Stone Temple Pilots ist eine US-amerikanische Rockband, die Anfang der 1990er Jahre entstand und zu einer der prägenden Bands der Grunge- und Alternative-Rock-Ära wurde. Bekannt für Hits wie „Plush“, „Interstate Love Song“ und „Creep“, kombinierten sie raue Riffs mit melodischen Hooks und hoben sich damit von ihren Mitbewerbern ab. Ursprünglich vom charismatischen Frontmann Scott Weiland angeführt, entwickelte sich ihr Sound im Laufe der Jahre zu einer Mischung aus Grunge, Psychedelic Rock und Alternative-Einflüssen.
