The La’s are an English rock band formed in Liverpool in the mid-1980s, led by singer and songwriter Lee Mavers. Best known for their 1990 hit “There She Goes,” the band became icons of British guitar pop with their jangly sound and melodic simplicity. Despite releasing only one studio album, The La’s left a lasting influence on Britpop and indie music, earning cult status for their timeless, understated style.
