The Cure ist eine englische Rockband, die 1976 in Crawley gegründet wurde. Sie begannen als Schulkameraden, die sich 1976 trafen, um gemeinsam Songs zu schreiben und Demos aufzunehmen. Ihr Debütalbum „Three Imaginary Boys“ erschien Ende der 1970er Jahre und machte sie zu einem wichtigen Teil der Post-Punk-Revolution in Großbritannien. Im Laufe ihrer Musikkarriere gewannen sie zwei Brit Awards und einen NME Award. Kürzlich tourten sie im Rahmen ihrer „The Cure Tour“ durch Europa und spielten 34 Konzerte in 17 europäischen Ländern.
